Go crazy & All!!!

If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. 2 Corinthians 5:13 MSG

35 For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s shall save it. Mark 8:35 ASV

The Bible says we are to act crazy, lose our lives...

7 But whatever things were gain to me, these things I have counted as loss because of Christ. 8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ, Philippians 3:7-8 NASB

We are to lose everything, so we can gain Christ.

That all sounds kind of crazy that God would want us to lose our lives and lose everything and go crazy, but it leads to one thing, God wants it all from us.

30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ Mark 12:30

God wants it all.

So, let's unpack the lose life, lose everything, we already talked about crazy but will touch on it again.

We have to die to self.

6 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; Romans 6:6 NASB

We have to die meaning the fleshly person has to die and we have to put on our new identity in Christ.

we have to lose everything that is worldly, is what I gathered from my research.

For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. 1 Timothy 6:7 ESV

We need to go crazy.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 ESV

We need to lose everything, lose life, and go crazy and as I said this leads to one thing, God wants it all from us.

So, go crazy and lose everything as you go to Church today!!!!

Tomorrow, we start James.

Rend Collective - I Will Be Undignified (Live in Belfast)

A Year of Crazy!!!!

It's one day away till New Year's Eve then the new year 2024.

13 For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 2 Corinthians 5:13 NASB

I proclaim that I would rather have lost my mind for God than be of sound mind for man!

I would rather be called crazy by people than be of sound mind and for man.

In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, Matthew 3:1 ESV

People today would think John the Baptist was crazy but back then some did think he was crazy for what he did and talked about but not all like it might be today.

But he did it anyway because he wanted to be crazy for God.

David danced and didn't care what people thought.

14 And David danced before Jehovah with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 2 Samual 6:14 ASV

But he did it anyway because he wanted to be crazy for God.

Job lost it all and he didn't care what others thought, he worshiped.

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship Job 1:20 NIV

But he did it anyway because he wanted to be crazy for God.

Daniel didn't care what others thought, he was sold out for God.

25 Daniel said, “I worship the Lord my God, for he is the living God. Daniel 14:25 NRSVCE

But he did it anyway because he wanted to be crazy for God.

Noah didn't care what others thought he did what God told him to do.

5 And Noah did all that the Lord had commanded him. Genesis 7:5 ESV

But he did it anyway because he wanted to be crazy for God.

The Bible is riddled with stories of people who didn't care what others thought, they only cared what God thought, and they went crazy for God.

As you get ready for the new year, are you ready to stand with me and declare this the year of crazy and be out of your mind for God?

Will you proclaim and declare this with me!

If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. 2 Corinthians 5:13 MSG

Still Another Version: 2 Corinthians 5

5 1-5 For instance, we know that when these bodies of ours are taken down like tents and folded away, they will be replaced by resurrection bodies in heaven—God-made, not handmade—and we’ll never have to relocate our “tents” again. Sometimes we can hardly wait to move—and so we cry out in frustration. Compared to what’s coming, living conditions around here seem like a stopover in an unfurnished shack, and we’re tired of it! We’ve been given a glimpse of the real thing, our true home, our resurrection bodies! The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us a taste of what’s ahead. He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.

6-8 That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? When the time comes, we’ll be plenty ready to exchange exile for homecoming.

9-10 But neither exile nor homecoming is the main thing. Cheerfully pleasing God is the main thing, and that’s what we aim to do, regardless of our conditions. Sooner or later we’ll all have to face God, regardless of our conditions. We will appear before Christ and take what’s coming to us as a result of our actions, either good or bad.

11-14 That keeps us vigilant, you can be sure. It’s no light thing to know that we’ll all one day stand in that place of Judgment. That’s why we work urgently with everyone we meet to get them ready to face God. God alone knows how well we do this, but I hope you realize how much and deeply we care. We’re not saying this to make ourselves look good to you. We just thought it would make you feel good, proud even, that we’re on your side and not just nice to your face as so many people are. If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.

A New Life

14-15 Our firm decision is to work from this focused center: One man died for everyone. That puts everyone in the same boat. He included everyone in his death so that everyone could also be included in his life, a resurrection life, a far better life than people ever lived on their own.

16-20 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life emerges! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

21 How? you ask. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God. 2 Corinthians 5 MSG

A Different Version: 2 Corinthians 5 NKJV

 Assurance of the Resurrection

5 For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven, 3 if indeed, having been clothed, we shall not be found naked. 4 For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

6 So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

The Judgment Seat of Christ

9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

Be Reconciled to God

12 For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. 13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [d]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5 NKJV

2 Corinthians 5

 The Temporal and Eternal

5 For we know that if our earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made by hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For indeed, in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 3 since in fact after putting it on, we will not be found naked. 4 For indeed, we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, because we do not want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal will be swallowed up by life. 5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a pledge.

6 Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord— 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight— 8 but we are of good courage and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 9 Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive compensation for his deeds done through the body, in accordance with what he has done, whether good or bad.

11 Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade people, but we are well known to God; and I hope that we are also well known in your consciences. 12 We are not commending ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to be proud of us, so that you will have an answer for those who take pride in appearance and not in heart. 13 For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; 15 and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose on their behalf.

16 Therefore from now on we recognize no one by the flesh; even though we have known Christ by the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer. 17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their wrongdoings against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5 NASB

Care not but God...

As the days of the new year are soon approaching.

I wanted to bring up to not care what people think.

There was a coffee cup with the saying I saw that said, His will my faith!

That is so true.

This faith we are to have is ours; what we do in our faith and for God is ours.

So why do we care what others think?

13 For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 2 Corinthians 5:13 NASB

25 People are trapped by their fear of others; those who trust the Lord are secure. Proverbs 29:25 CEB

I proclaim that I would rather have lost my mind for God than be of sound mind for man!

I would rather be called crazy by people than be of sound mind and for man.

David danced and didn't care what people thought.

Job lost it all and he didn't care what others thought, he worshiped.

Daniel didn't care what others thought, he was sold out for God.

Noah didn't care what others thought he did what God told him to do.

The Bible is riddled with stories of people who didn't care what others thought, they only cared what God thought.

As you get ready for the new year, are you with me to be crazy and be out of your mind for God?

Will you proclaim and declare this with me!

If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. 2 Corinthians 5:13 MSG

Light...

Jesus in the light of the world....

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 KJV

But for so many, they are living with darkness.

They do not know the light

Whatever the reason....

It does not matter the light will never be put out!!!

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8 KJV

The light will remain forever!!!

Right now, I want to pray for those who do not know the light, cannot see the light, or have lost the light.

God, I pray for those who do not know the light, lost the light, or cannot see the light

I pray the light be shown to them in a mighty way today on this Christmas Day

Help us Jesus to have that same light as You are Jesus

I pray that all darkness be gone in Jesus' Name

I pray your light shines above all Jesus

I thank you and praise you for your light and that it will go out

In Jesus Name

Amen

8 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,

4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:1-12 KJV

Greatest Gift!!!

The greatest gift of all is the gift of love which is the basis for all the other gifts that are given to us.

God had/has to love us to give us gifts.

Have you ever heard of someone who didn't have some kind of love for someone to give that many gifts?

We love, because He first loved us1 John 4:9 NASB

God loved us first before we loved Him.

God loves us so much that He wants to pour out gifts on us so, we can share them with others this includes the greatest gift of all, love.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

God is love.

Love is God.

Think about all that you have been given as gifts (make a list)?

All those came from God!!!

Everything you have gotten in life or have in life is from God.

And it's all because of love.

Even the gifts you get from people are from God

God allowed the gift to be given, gave the idea, or told that person to give that gift.

So again, I say and it's all because of love.

Think about that today and dwell on His love!!!!

Go forth and share the kind of love God has shown/given us.

Romans 12

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12 KJV

Sharing the 12 With Others!

10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 NASB

These gifts God has given us, we can't just keep these to ourselves we need to share them with others.

Freely I receive, freely I give.

These gifts are free to those who believe and have faith in Jesus Christ.

And we are to share them with others.

We are not to keep them to ourselves but share them freely with others just as they were freely given to us.

We need to overflow with these to others just as God has overflowed them on us.

Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness. Romans 12:6-8 ESV

4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 ESV

Think about all of the twelve gifts we have talked about and see how you can share them with others today!!!!

Pour them pour today!!!

Freely received, freely give them!!!!

Promises

On the first day of Christmas

My God gave to me

The Rock

Number one being the best gift of all, next being the promises then all the rest.

This is a playful way to remind us of the gifts God gives us, but these are not the only ones that God may give us, these are the ones that God had me talk about.

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:17 NASB

15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 NASB

10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 NASB

So, any time you need a reminder of what God has for you, sing it the way it was written today and be reminded of God's gifts!!!

These gifts are far greater than the ones in the original song because they come from above not from man or earth!!!

God thank you for these gifts and more

Thank You for Giving them to us

Thank for giving them to me

In Jesus Name

Amen

A Reason to Dance (Live)

Gift # 12 Rock!

The twelfth gift God gives us the gift that He is the rock.

For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God, Psalm 18:31 NASB

Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His;” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to keep away from wickedness.” 2 Timothy 2:19 NASB

God is our rock and firm foundation, He never changes being that.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 NASB

God is the same, which is why He is the foundation for everything.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 NASB

God was before we were so, that is why He is the rock/foundation we are to stand on.

Take time to worship the rock that is called God!!!!

Dance like David to the rock which is higher than me and you!!!

God's promise of Jesus coming back is the second greatest gift, the first is that He is the rock and our firm foundation.

God had to be before anything could happen like Jesus coming back. That is logical to me.

What do you think?

There is no one holy like the Lord, Indeed, there is no one besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:2 NASB

Again, worship God our rock today, that is the sense I am getting today from God!!!

The Greatest Promise Revelations 6:2

The promise of Jesus coming back!!!!

I looked, and behold, a white horse [of victory] whose rider carried a bow; and a crown [of victory] was given to him, and he rode forth conquering and to conquer. Revelation 6:2 AMP

Gift # 11 Promises!

The eleventh gift God gives us is the gift of promises.

God Will keep the promises He makes to you.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 ESV

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV

God promises us what we need and will help us in times of trouble and such.

God is a God of promises.

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Lord will fulfill His promises.

We have the mentality that when we want the promises of God it has to be instant, but it is not always so, but as the verse says it is not slow, then what is it?

It is all in God's timing, not our timing.

God will do as He promises in His timing, not ours.

So, with that let's look at more verses about promises and God wanting this for us.

By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. 2 Peter 1:4 ESV

Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ESV

God Promises Action

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for under compulsion he will let them go, and under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.” Exodus 6:1 NASB

Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; everything came to pass. Joshua 21:45 NASB

Promises of God

“Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep His covenant with you and His faithfulness which He swore to your forefathers. Deuteronomy 7:12 NASB

Accept and praise God for promises today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the twelfth gift from God.

Take time today and look up promises for yourself!

Matthew 6:25-33

 The Cure for Anxiety

25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what

you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body

more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into

barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they? 27 And

which of you by worrying can add a single day to his life’s span? 28 And why are you worried about

clothing? Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth, 29

yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so

clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not

much more clothe you? You of little faith! 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What

 are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear for clothing?’ 32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things;

for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first His kingdom and

His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:25-33 NASB

Gift # 10 need!

The tenth gift God gives us is the gift of need.

These are the questions that lay the foundation to the answer of need.

25 “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your [r]life, as to what you will eat or

what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food,

and the body more than clothing?

28 And why are you worried about clothing?

31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we

to wear for clothing?’ Mathew 6:25,28,31 NASB

Then God turns and answers the questions above in verses 26, 27, rest of 28, 29, and 30 in

Matthew NASB, so let's take a look.

26 Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and

yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

Notice how the lilies of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin thread for cloth, 29 yet

I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if

God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the

furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to

 you. Matthew 6:33 NASB

God will supply our every need to just have to seek Him first.

God will take care of those who are His people even the gentiles.

32 For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you

 need all these things.

God will Give us what we not what we want I need to point that out.

God loves His people and wants the best for them.

All we have to his seek Him first.

Accept and praise God for need today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we

look at the eleventh gift from God.

Take time and dwell on that today, God will supply our every need!!!

22 And He said to His disciples, “For this reason I tell you, do not worry about your life, as to

what you are to eat; nor for your body, as to what you are to wear. 23 For life is more than

food, and the body is more than clothing. 24 Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor

reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable

you are than the birds! 25 And which of you by worrying can add a day to his life’s span? 26

Therefore if you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other things?

27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither labor nor spin; but I tell you, not even

Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 28 Now if God so clothes the grass

in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will

He clothe you? You of little faith! 29 And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to

drink, and do not keep worrying. 30 For all these things are what the nations of the world

eagerly seek; and your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek His kingdom,

and these things will be provided to you. 32 Do not be afraid, little flock, because your Father

has chosen to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:22-32 NASB

Gift # 9 Tongues!

The ninth gift God gives us is the gift of tongues.

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, divers kinds of tongues.  1 Corinthians 12:28 ASV

So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:39 ESV

Yes, as the church, we all are to speak in tongues.

All of us are to speak in tongues. When the holy spirit comes inside of us, we will be given the ability to speak in tongues.

2 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4 ASV

So, with that let's look at more verses about tongues and God wanting this for us.

And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; Mark 16:17 ESV

For one who speaks in a tongue speaks not to men but to God; for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:2 ESV

Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 1 Corinthians 12:30 ESV

And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:28

Accept and praise God for tongues today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the tenth gift from God.

Take time today and look up tongues for yourself!

The Day of Pentecost

When the day of Pentecost [a]had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And tongues that looked like fire appeared to them, distributing themselves, and a tongue rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out.

Now there were Jews residing in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven. And when this sound occurred, the crowd came together and they were bewildered, because each one of them was hearing them speak in his own language. They were amazed and astonished, saying, “Why, are not all these who are speaking Galileans? And how is it that we each hear them in our own language to which we were born? Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues of the mighty deeds of God.” 12 And they all continued in amazement and great perplexity, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others were jeering and saying, “They are full of sweet wine!” Acts 2:1-13 NASB

Gift # 8 Forgiveness!

The eighth gift God gives us is the gift of forgiveness.

None of these gifts would matter if we don't repent and ask for forgiveness for what we have done.

for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 ASV

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 ASV

God Forgives us when we mess, screw up, or do something he does not like or want when we come to Him and tell Him and ask for forgiveness.

God does not want us to harbor these things, He wants us to repent and give it up and let go of this stuff.

God loves a repentant heart and is willing to forgive us our stuff.

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:7 ESV

So, with that let's look at more verses about forgiveness and God wanting this for us.

And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25 ESV

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:28 ESV

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 ESV

Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times. Matthew 18:21-22 ESV

Accept and praise God for forgiveness today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the ninth gift from God.

Take time today and look up forgiveness for yourself!

Pray for forgiveness today! Just these Bible verse today as we need to take time to pray for forgiveness as God directed me!!!

Gift # 7 Blessing/s!

The seventh gift God gives us is the gift of blessing.

And all these blessings will come to you and reach you if you obey the Lord your God: Deuteronomy 28:2 NASB

If we are faithful and obedient to God we will be blessed not just with material things but have a feeling of blessing.

God literally wants to bless His people.

He has many blessings for us, He is just waiting for you to come to a place to be able to receive them.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:3 NASB

Blessings are a gift From God!

So, with that let's look at more verses about blessing and God wanting this for us.

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. Genesis 12:2 ESV

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. Isaiah 44:3 ESV

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 ESV

Psalm 113

The Lord Exalts the Humble.

113 Praise the Lord!

Praise Him, you servants of the Lord,

Praise the name of the Lord.

2 Blessed be the name of the Lord

From this time on and forever.

3 From the rising of the sun to its setting,

The name of the Lord is to be praised.

4 The Lord is high above all nations;

His glory is above the heavens.

5 Who is like the Lord our God,

Who is enthroned on high,

6 Who looks far down to

The heavens and the earth?

7 He raises the poor from the dust,

He lifts the needy from the garbage heap,

8 To seat them with noblemen,

With the noblemen of His people.

9 He has the infertile woman live in the house

As a joyful mother of children.

Praise the Lord! Psalm 113 NASB

Gift # 6 Humble!

The Sixth gift God gives us is the gift of humbleness or being humble.

But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6 ESV

God does not like the proud and that is said throughout the Bible.

God loves the humble and humble at heart.

It's not that God gives up humility but gives us ways to be humble so we can be more like Him.

Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:12 ESV

We are to be humble because humility is from God.

So, with that let's look at more verses about humble and God wanting this for us.
Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. James 4:10 NASB

For the Lord had humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had brought about a lack of restraint in Judah and was very unfaithful to the Lord. 2 Chronicles 28:19 NASB

When they have brought you low, you will speak with confidence, And He will save the humble person. Job 22:29 NASB

Arise, Lord; God, lift up Your hand. Do not forget the humble. Psalm 10:12 NASB

Psalm 5

Prayer for Protection from the Wicked.

For the music director; for flute accompaniment. A Psalm of David.

5 Listen to my words, Lord,

Consider my sighing.

2 Listen to the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God,

For to You I pray.

3 In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;

In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch.

4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness;

No evil can dwell with You.

5 The boastful will not stand before Your eyes;

You hate all who do injustice.

6 You destroy those who speak lies;

The Lord loathes the person of bloodshed and deceit.

7 But as for me, by Your abundant graciousness I will enter Your house,

At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.

8 Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my enemies;

Make Your way straight before me.

9 For there is nothing trustworthy in their mouth;

Their inward part is destruction itself.

Their throat is an open grave;

They flatter with their tongue.

10 Make them pay, God;

Have them fall by their own schemes!

Scatter them in the multitude of their wrongdoings,

For they are rebellious against You.

11 But rejoice, all who take refuge in You,

Sing for joy forever!

And may You shelter them,

That those who love Your name may rejoice in You.

12 For You bless the righteous person, Lord,

You surround him with favor as with a shield. Psalm 5 NASB

Gift # 5 Joy!

The fifth gift God gives us is the gift of joy.

For You make him most blessed forever;
You make him joyful with the joy of Your presence. Psalm 21:6 NASB

So, what is joy according to the Bible?

Joy is one of the key elements of our faith and also as we have discussed is a fruit of the spirit.

This type of joy is not just about feeling or the emotional state of being joy or joyful but this type kind of joy only comes from our relationship with our God.

This Joy we are to have comes from God.

This joy measures if we are living for Christ or living for ourselves.

This kind of joy is internal and should manifest externally.

This means that other people should see this kind of joy is what you do and say.

Joy, Joy, Joy!!!!

So, with that let's look at more verses about joy and God wanting this for us.

You have put joy in my heart, More than when their grain and new wine are abundant. Psalm 4:7 NASB

For You make him most blessed forever; You make him joyful with the joy of Your presence. Psalm 21:6 NASB

Sing for joy in the Lord, you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Psalm 33:1 NASB

Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy. Psalm 33:3 NASB

Boast in His holy name; May the heart of those who seek the Lord be joyful. Psalm 105:3 NASB

With trumpets and the sound of the horn Shout joyfully before the King, the Lord. Psalm 98:6 NASB

Let’s come before His presence with a song of thanksgiving, Let’s shout joyfully to Him in songs with instruments. Psalm 95:2 NASB

Praise to the Lord and Warning against Unbelief.

Come, let’s sing for joy to the Lord, Let’s shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Psalm 95:1 NASB

Accept and praise God for joy today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the sixth gift from God.

Take time today and look up joy for yourself!

Updates and Upcoming Series!!!

 Updates and upcoming series.

On January 1st this blog is embarking on a journey into secular social media.

These posts are too good to keep to just us Christians.

My point for starting this blog came from wanting to share with family and friends the good news and what God has for us and then I went to Christian social media to share it with you, now God wants to share all the good stuff with the people who do not know Christ (the rest of the world).

We are going to Nexdoor, Instagram, and with prayer Facebook.

So, until that day keep this blog and God's servant in prayer.

Also, when I started this blog, I posted a playlist and realized because of a relative that not everyone has Apple Music, but I want to get back to sharing music so on Mondays I will be sharing a new song/artist via YouTube (this will be posted on my blog) and this music will come from God (by His direction).

The upcoming series starting January 1st is the study of James.

So, get out your mouse and get ready to copy all this to your computer this is going to be a great series.

Can't wait to see what God has for us in James.

After that A party of For God, Festivals explained in the New Testament.

Then we will look at the book of John.

Gift # 4 Wisdom!

The fourth gift God gives us is wisdom.

But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5 ASV

God will give us wisdom all we have to do is ask for it.

The kind of wisdom that we are talking about is heavenly wisdom or put another way divine wisdom.

This means that this kind of wisdom can only come from God not from earth or man.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy. James 3:17 ASV

Wisdom is one of the biggest things discussed in the Bible, so it must be important other than love.

So, with that let's look at more verses about wisdom and God wanting this for us.

2 My son, if thou wilt receive my words,
And lay up my commandments with thee;
2 So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom,
And apply thy heart to understanding;
3Yea, if thou cry after discernment,
And lift up thy voice for understanding;
4 If thou seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hid treasures:
5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah,
And find the knowledge of God.
6 For Jehovah giveth wisdom;
Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding:
7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to them that walk in integrity; Proverbs 2:1-7 ASV

But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal. For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit: 1 Corinthians 12:7-8 ASV

12 So teach us to number our days,
That we may get us a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12 ASV

Accept and praise God for wisdom today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the fifth gift from God.

Just these verses for today...

Take time today and look up wisdom for yourself!

Deuteronomy 18:15-22

 A New Prophet like Moses

15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— 16 just as you desired of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, when you said, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of the Lord my God or see this great fire any more, lest I die.’ 17 And the Lord said to me, ‘They are right in what they have spoken. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him. 20 But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ 21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— 22 when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him. Deuteronomy 18:15-22 ESV

Gift # 3: Prophecy!

The third gift God gives us is prophesy.

Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy. 1 Corinthian 14:1 ESV

What is prophecy?

Prophecy put simply is a word or message from God.

If you read your Bible, you will hear of prophets and what they told the people of Israel and such that is what prophecy is.

A good example of this is Jeremiah, the weeping prophet.

It is God telling us his plans, will, direction, and reproof to His people.

More verses about prophecy and God wanting this for us.

“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your brothers—it is to him you shall listen— Deuteronomy 18:15 ESV

But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.’ And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?’— when a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 ESV

Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up. 1 Corinthians 14:5 ESV

The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church. 1 Corinthians 14:4 ESV

Accept and praise God for prophecy today as the gift that is freely given to you for Tomorrow, we look at the fourth gift from God.

Take time today and look up prophecy for yourself!

John 14:26-28, Philippians 4:6-8

26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall

teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you. 27 Peace I leave

with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart

be troubled, neither let it be fearful. 28 Ye heard how I said to you, I go away, and I come unto

you. If ye loved me, ye would have rejoiced, because I go unto the Father: for the Father is

greater than I. John 14:26-28 ASV

6 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your

requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,

shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things

are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever  things are just, whatsoever things are

pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:6-8 ASV
