Matthew 22: 36-38

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the great and foremost commandment. Matthew 22:36-38

The Whole of God Wrap Up....

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14. The great I Am, it is finished with Me, the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the end, you created the heaven and the earth. These are names and phrases; we use to describe God and rightly we should. Because God is those things and more.

The first one is the one that describes God best I Am. This doesn't say I am many Gods made up for you to seek and worship or seek me in many forms and worship those forms, but it says I Am which means God is everything and all things to us. He is one not many, He is whole not in parts, he has many facets but is one and whole or he would not be the great I Am he would be a mere God, and the devil would be the victor. God is God because he is whole and one and the devil has lost already.

As we wrap up this series on the whole of God, think back to how you thought of God before this series and see if it has changed. If it has Amen to that but if it hasn't stop and think why it hasn't changed. it could be you don't like the truth of what I spoke about or you like the way you thought of God in parts, or you cannot just understand, or the devil has clouded your eyes not to see what was written on the page. Whatever it may be keeping you from seeing God in this way, keep seeking Him and He will make known the things of him in wholeness.

For years People may think one way and it is hard to think a different way when you have thought one way for so many years. I get it, an example of this is Amazing Grace the song; if you go to church one day and they are singing a new version of Amazing Grace and you do not sing it like that because you have the sung the original for many years. It would make sense it would take time to learn the new version. So just like this series on changing the way you look at God, it would make sense that for some it might change right away, or it may take time for your view to change it all depends on the person and their level of understanding in God.

So, my prayer for you is that you come to a better level of understanding that God is whole, and he is not a parted God but a God who is whole.

Dear God,

I praise you and thank you for who you are and what you are

The Great I Am

I pray right now for each person who reads this to have a better understanding of who you are and what you are

I pray that they seek you in wholeness

I pray that people who read this seek God like it says in Matthew 22:37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

that they would seek God with all the wholeness he deserves

In Him, all things were created in heaven and on earth.

Thank you, God, for your wholeness, and thank you for who you are to us

In Jesus Name

Amen

Matthew 22:15-17

15 Then the Pharisees went and plotted together how they might trap Him in what He said. 16 And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone. 17 Tell us then, what do You think? Is it permissible to pay a poll-tax to Caesar, or not?” Matthew 22: 5-17

Bible verses taken from the NASB

The wholeness of God...

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, He is only these things in wholeness not just because He is those things but because of the wholeness. Anyone can lead you in the way but is it to the father in heaven. Anyone can tell you the truth but does lead you to the father. Can anyone give life that leads to the father? No there is not, no one can except Jesus because in wholeness He is the way, the truth, and the life. Anyone can try and be those things I said and asked but only Jesus can be those things. I said it twice your right, but I want to let that sink in, and again, Only Jesus can be those things no one else

The devil will try and give us ways to go and what we think are truth and life, but I am here to say it again only Jesus can be and do those things. Anything the devil tries to do will be a dead-end that leads to nowhere, but Jesus will lead you to the father who is in heaven. people will be able to come to Jesus because Jesus is in wholeness, He is these things.

Then there are others who will try and say they have the way or truth or the life but I tell you that is all of the devil and is evil and should not even be given a batting eyelash at those things. Many will follow their indecent behavior, and because of thethe way of the truth will be maligned; There is only one in wholeness who can be and do those things, Jesus. 2 Peter 2:2

we can take our own path seek our own truth and be our own life but we will not get very far, it will ultimately lead to our destruction. Each name that God is called is a facet of himself so that we have a God who is all things and in Him, all things were created and work for his glory.

And they sent their disciples to Him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are truthful and teach the way of God in truth, and do not care what anyone thinks; for You are not partial to anyone. Matthew 22:16. God is for all who seek Him and are of Him and he does not play favorites. He is God of all who believes in Him and seeks Him.

God thank you and Praise you

for who you and what you are

you are the way, the truth, and the life

in wholeness, you are these things

In all things you created and in all things

We thank you and praise you again for these things

You are the Great I Am

Thank you I cannot say thank you enough for all the things you have done

In Jesus Name

Amen

John 8:11-13

11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on do not sin any longer.” 12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” 13 So the Pharisees said to Him, “You are testifying about Yourself; Your testimony is not true.” John 8:11-13

Bible verses taken from the NASB

The Wholeness of God...

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the worldthe one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”  John 8:12. If the Light of the world was not whole only this facet, Jesus would not be the Light of the world, only mere light that we can get from a lamp or a phone these days. Jesus is the Light of the world because He is whole, He is oneness, and He is the great I Am.

Because He is the Light of the world that means we will not be in darkness but will have the Light of life. Jesus is the light of the world to shine in the places where there is darkness and to take away the darkness which the devil uses for his purpose. What the devil can use for his purpose, God can use for more for His Glory. the darkness is the devil's but when paired/shown with the Light it changes and becomes holy, it is now God's. It is a light that cannot be snuffed out, it is a light that will shine for all eternity, and a light unto our lives.

The Light of the world can do all these things because He is whole and in oneness and the great I Am. While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.  John 9:5. I am mentioning this verse because I think it is important to know that the Light while on earth is the Light of the world and even though that's all it says I believe he is still the Light today. It may not be the same as it was when the Light was on the earth, but I cannot say for I do not know all things. but I believe in today's times the Light is still shining in the darkness and we are to See the Light and go forth accordingly in that knowledge and worship the Light as such.

The Light is the Light of the World but He to me is the Light of my life. I believe when we make it more personal, we tend to take it to heart more. So, for any of the facets, I have talked about and will talk about, make it personal for you so that you take it more to heart. Your relationship isn't with the world and God but with You and God only, so make it personal. As long as you worship and praise God in wholeness you can make it personal in the wholeness and in the facets of him as well. Always seek God in wholeness, for he is the Great I Am.

Dear God

I praise and thank you for who you are in wholeness

Help me to make the relationship I have with you more personal

So that I may take it to heart more and more each day

Let the Light be the guiding light in my life

you are the Alpha and Omega

the Beginning and the End

In you all things were created

I thank and praise you for all things

In Jesus Name

Amen

Isaiah 9:5-7

5 For every boot of the marching warrior in the roar of battle,
And cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.
6 For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us;
And the government will [a]rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace
On the throne of David and over [b]his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:5-7

The Wholeness of God...

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9: 6. When I of a counselor I think of a summer camp counselor or one they have at school you can go to talk to.  But this is nothing like that at all He is whole, the great I AM and because of that, he can be called wonderful counselor.

Remember He only this Because he is whole if he was not whole, He would be like the ones I mentioned above be a mere counselor. Jesus doesn't sit up in heaven and not do anything, no he sits up in heaven and does everything (all facets of himself), and one of the facets, He is a wonderful counselor which means he helps us and guides us in our lives. you go and talk to a person called a counselor in school or in life and they help you through it. It is just like that with Jesus, He is one and the same, but He is wonderful counselor because He is God in wholeness and not just a mere person on earth.

The wonderful counselor like the others will never leave you or forsake you. Others may let you down or give you bad advice, but the wonderful Counselor will never give you bad advice or let you down. He will always be with us and always guide and give us advice because He is whole, He is one and not many. He is always willing to help in our times of trouble and need. He will always answer us, not like the others saying, I don't know what to say or how does that make you feel, he will always know what to say maybe not in your timing but in his timing and he will know how you feel and want you to say it but will never ask the question like the others do.

He is with us always to the end of the ages and will like the other facets I have and will talk about will it be also, in wholeness and in oneness, the great I AM.

God I thank and praise you

Thank you for being the wonderful counselor

help me guide my steps and in every way help me in my life

You are the Alpha and the Omega

the beginning and the end

in all things you created them all

thank you for being whole so that you can be all the facets to me and to our world

In Jesus' Name,

Amen

John !0: 11-18

11 “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. 12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters the flock. 13 He flees because he is a hired hand and does not care about the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and I know My own, and My own know Me, 15 just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father, and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become one flock, with one shepherd. 17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it back. 18 No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it back. This commandment I received from My Father.” John 10:11-18

The wholeness of God...

I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:11 The good shepherd is whole, if He was only a good shepherd, He would be nothing, but a mere shepherd with no power. As I have said throughout this series God is only God because of His wholeness. the good shepherd is Jesus and the sheep our us his flock.

John 10:11, and 14 are the only two verses that talk about the great Shepherd. The good shepherd is one facet of God that helps and is with us and keeps us safe from harm and evil but if He wasn't doing this as a whole He would as I said be a mere shepherd and will run like the verse says next. He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf snatches them and scatters the flock. John 10:12. It goes on to say that he does not care in verse 13. He flees because he is a hired hand and does not care about the sheep.

Only the good shepherd in oneness, the great I Am, can do what the verse I used in the beginning says.  even though it is only said twice in the Bible, I think it is important and know it is important because it was a parable of Jesus, and the things Jesus Said are very important and worthy of importance. The word is God so anything the bible says is worthy of Praise and thanks to God.

If you go further in the parable the good shepherd is not for just us but for the unbeliever which it talks about in verse 16. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become one flock, with one shepherd. God in oneness is for everyone but some of the facets of God are not shown to everyone. anyone can come to God, but certain things are not shown right away because they would not understand, only as we grow as a Christian are some things shown. In the case of the good shepherd which we are talking about verse 16 answers that, and it is shown to everyone.

We are the sheep, and we are not just to seek the good shepherd but to seek God in oneness, The great I Am. Do not part out God in your life let Him be whole and worship Him As such.

God thank you and praise you

You are my good shepherd

You all our things to me

You are the great I Am

I worship and give you reverence in that fact

you made the heaven and the earth

and in all things created them

you are the alpha and omega

 the beginning and the end

It is finished with you

Because you are whole sitting in heaven on the throne

In Jesus' Name, I Pray,

Amen

Have a blessed day!!!!!!

John 13:12-14

12 Then, when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done for you? 13 You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am. 14 So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. John 13:12-14

The Wholeness of God...

And someone came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do so that I may obtain eternal life? Matthew 19:16 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law? Matthew 22:36. In the verses above when they are saying teacher, they are talking about Jesus. He was the greatest teacher who live but only because He was whole not just a part. If He was just a teacher, he would not be the greatest teacher, He needs all of Himself to be the great teacher.

In the New Testament, the reference to a teacher is said 62 times in the New American Standard Bible. The one who sits on the throne in is wholeness came down and became the teacher for us to learn and to understand what He has for us. You can throughout the gospels see Jesus sitting and being in the synagogues, teaching and proclaiming the good news. he was teaching but if he was just a teacher not being whole and one, being the great I Am, His words would have meant nothing. It is only by His wholeness that he is able to be all those facets, alone all those facets would be nothing and could not stand.

God created the word and created what was to be taught. So, Jesus knew what to preach and to teach and proclaim as he went from place to place, it was not from him but from himself being from heaven. But if He was not whole, He could not do this and would not be the great teacher.

Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? John 3:10. The rulers and the Pharisees and many others did not believe in the great teacher, what was coming was not from Him but from Heaven.  I mention this as it is important because it is an example of how they only sought part of God, they wanted the law and God of the Old Testament because Jesus brought change and they were not open to change they had hardened hearts like I have talked about in another message. This verse that I found ties perfectly with today's message because it talks about, they do not understand what Jesus was saying and teaching them. they could not accept him as a whole, that he was God and from God. they sought the law and God is the law, but He is so much more than that. He is many facets in wholeness, the great I Am.

He came down from heaven; just so we might learn and repent of our sins so we can have eternal life. He did this as flesh, but he was still whole because everything which he sought and taught came from heaven it was just that facet of God that we saw. He never stopped being whole not for one minute.

He is whole and worship God for His wholeness today.

I thank and praise You, Jesus,

for your wholeness being the great I AM

In Jesus Name

Amen

Matthew 4:3-5

And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’” Then the devil *took Him along into the holy city and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, Mattew 4:3-5

The Whole of God...

The word of God is sovereign. God is the word but if only the word was God, it would be merely words on a page and mean nothing. Only by God being whole do the words have meaning. Just like a car, if you only have an engine, it is a car, no it is only an engine. For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Just like all the facets of God, I will be talking about they are all living and active because God is living and is active. The word of God is nothing less, it is still living and is active because as; I have said God is still alive and active. The word is alive, not just words on a page like other books that are meaningless and have no power like the word of God has. If you read your bible, the words of the Bible are living and active in our lives.

I believe the words of the Bible grow with us, as we grow in God and in understanding, the words of the Bible grow for us to understand more and more as we age. There are words that we cannot understand as we become Christians and words we cannot understand at certain times or in certain circumstances. the word never changes, but our understanding of the word changes. Just like the other facets of God they are all living as one as a whole, if this facet wasn't living and active could God be living and whole? No God would be alive and active because it takes all of God to be alive and active. Just like a car engine if one part does not work does the engine still work, I think not.

Let that sink in that the word is living and active. The words of the Bible are not mere words on a page but living and breathing words that change our lives and the lives of others. This only happens because God is whole and is one, not a part but whole. It takes all of God to be God. The word of God is a two-edged sword and can penetrate our soul and spirit because God in the whole, sits on the throne in heaven as one and He is called Jesus.

But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4

So, today seek the living and active word of God that is found in the Bible.

God I praise You and thank you

I thank You for the living word

I thank You for it being active and living

I thank You for it still meaning something in a world that wants nothing to do with your word

I thank You for being one who sit in heaven and is still alive and active today

God I thank You for being You

In all things and through all things He is, The Great I Am.

Thank You

In Jesus Name

Amen
