Tools...

Today is another set of tools you can use to in your Christian walk.

1. On top of the prayer card I talked about in an early message, create a prayer journal. Write out prayers that you hear or that come into you in the journal. you do not need to write it out but make sure you have all the details and are specific in writing it down. Do not just write out names but be specific as I said. the more specific you can be the better so they will have the victory in that area or what they are playing for.1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, pray without ceasing, so this is a great tool to help pray without ceasing.

2. Create a prayer time not that you are not to prayer throughout the day. But take time each and every day to pray and worship God. This one is not rocket science but much more important.

3. Create a bible verse journal or list of verse for when you need them or ones you like and want to remember. It is a blessing to have one.   never could get myself to write in a bible. you can Write in your bible and mark it up as you like but you still have to find the verse. To me it is easier to find verse out of a journal than the whole bible.

I share these tools but do what works best for you and do it immediately, for God should come first.

Exodus 1:1-7 and continue in your bible...

1 Now these are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob; they came, each one with his household: 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah; 3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin; 4 Dan and Naphtali, Gad and Asher. 5 All the people who descended from Jacob were seventy people, but Joseph was already in Egypt. 6 And Joseph died, and all his brothers and all that generation. 7 But the sons of Israel were fruitful and increased greatly, and multiplied, and became exceedingly mighty, so that the land was filled with them. Exodus 1: 1-7

these are the first 7 verses of exodus to read the full story of Moses and the Israelites read the rest of this book Exodus.

Verses taken from the NASB

Hardened Heart...

Moses and Arron went to Pharaoh 7 times to get the people of Israel free and each time they did Pharaoh heart was hardened.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and speak to him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews says: “Let My people go, so that they may serve Me. Exodus 9:1

And Pharaoh sent men, and they learned that, behold, not even one of the livestock of Israel was dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. Exodus 9:7

You would think after reading this story which I not finished with but have heard before that Pharoah would let them go after the first sign of God. He did not it took 7 times for him to let him go. Pharaoh would say to Moses and Arron in essence stop the sign and will let the people of Israel go. But after each time Pharaoh would harden his heart.

What do you have hardened in your heart, That God has tried to fix? You say I will do it this or take care of that and you say that and then you harden your heart, and nothing happens. I have talked about once you give it up to God you have to let it go and know that God will take care of it. So, if God is trying to loosen your heart to take care of some things, he thinks you need to work on or get help with don't be like pharaoh and say it and harden your heart afterwards. it is freeing when you do this, and it takes practice just like anything else in your Christian walk.

So today as you go forth to church and your day give yourself a heart checkup and pray about it. No longer have a hardened heart.

Luke 14: 7-15 A Parable of the Guest

7 Now He began telling a parable to the invited guests when He noticed how they had been picking out the places of honor at the table, saying to them, 8 "Whenever you are invited by someone to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for someone more distinguished than you may have been invited by him, 9 and the one who invited you both will come and say to you, ‘Give your place to this person,’ and then in disgrace you will proceed to occupy the last place. 10 But whenever you are invited, go and take the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher’; then you will have honor in the sight of all who are dining at the table with you. 11 For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

12 Now He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, “Whenever you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers, your relatives, nor wealthy neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you to a meal in return, and that will be your repayment. 13 But whenever you give a banquet, invite people who are poor, who have disabilities, who are limping, and people who are blind; 14 and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” 15 Now when one of those who were reclining at the table with Him heard this, he said to Him, “Blessed is everyone who will eat bread in the kingdom of God!” Luke 14: 7-15 verses taken from the NASB

Learning and Teaching...

What are you learning? What are you being taught?  In this season, we been to be learning and be taught. What do you we need to learn and be taught? Well, I tell you that I do not fully understand the bible and all it has, I do not know everything God has for me, I Do not have all the answers in life. we always need to be students and will to have an open mind to what God wants us to learn and teach us in every season. When Jesus came, he taught in the synagogues and taught his disciples.

And Jesus responded and began saying, as He taught in the temple area, “How is it that the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? Mark 12:35

On another Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught; and a man was there whose right hand was withered. Luke 6:6

These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum. John 6:59

In the last verse Jesus is trying to teach His disciples. So do you act like you know it all like some Christians do. I believe a great example of that is the Pharisees. They Had such Hardened hearts that Jesus could not teach them anything. they cared more about the law then having a heart of wanting to learn and be taught but God himself. Ask God today to always be a student and to want to learn what he has for you. I pray every morning for my thoughts and my mind to understand what God has for me as I read his word. It never hurts to learn something new.  Even in this season I am learning things and be taught. So, go forth and hunger for more of what God wants you to learn and to teach you.

Worship Like No Cares or Thinks!!!!!!!!

I know I talked about music. I got this message at least the start of it. The first church I every went there was a young man who was mentally disabled. He would sit in the front of the church and be whaling, throwing up His hands, dancing during worship. I always marveled at him as he did this and I look back I wish I had done the same. He no idea that what he was doing, I think but I never asked him. What if we were like that, do that very same thing he did. Just like Him, not knowing because he was mentally disabled, we did it not caring what others thought as we worshiped. that we came to church and sat upfront and just started dancing and lifting our arms.  it says in Psalms 149:3They shall praise His name with dancing; They shall sing praises to Him with tambourine and lyre. Psalms 150:4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.
It talks about worship in the NASB 180 times that say something to me. I my thought is if it mentioned more than once in the bible it must be important. So why should we leave all those things to someone else? we should come to church and worship with all heart, mind, soul. So, if you fear or not sure you can do it in church, at home take time and practice it is still worship to God even at home. Get your worship on even at home it's good practice for Church and doing it at home, you give worship to God. Worship to God does not have to be done once a week at church but every day we should worship him. I'm practicing too. No one is perfect not even me the only perfect one is Jesus. So, when you go to church act like no one is watching and stop thinking what people will think. Are there for what people think or for God?

Worship like this is life changing.

Tomorrow, as I was writing this message, I got my message for tomorrow unless God gives something else in my spirit to write about and it's called "What are you learning."

Luke 12: 35

35 "Be dressed in readiness and keep your lamps alight. Luke 12: 35 taken from the NASB

Church's Unite!!!

Raise up an army like Joel saw,
your church that is stronger that ever before
They do not break ranks,
when they plunge through defenses
But the fear of the Lord will be their wisdom

That they might weep as Jesus wept
a fountain of tears for the wounded and lost
Who ever heard of an army of God
That conquered the earth
by weeping and mourning and brokenness?

Today more than ever we have division among the churches. They fight over which church is better, over the law, over who can come to church. Are there church's out there that are not good yes, and they are not doing any good. But I was found this song and listen to it. I was immediately like wow I love this song, I listened to it several times. What instead of churches creating division over one another that we would bond together and create an army like Job saw in the song. One that cannot be broken, one that is stronger. One Church in unity against the devil and his evil ways. A church that fears the lord. Instead of being Baptist or Morman or any other religion we become the Christian Church and rise up and cast out the things that are wrong in this world. We would be a force that cannot be broken. We need to unit as Christians and seek God Conquer the Earth with prayer, praising, worshipping, weeping, mourning, brokenness.

So today I ask for you to pray for church leaders to get out of the way. I am blessed to be in a church that does not need to do this. Pray for Churches to unify and become one army that can withstand anything. Pray that churches don’t disregard the values of God for people in their pews. Letting people sin to fill pews is not Godly at all. We are to love all even sinners but not love their sin that they commit. We are to pray for them to come to repentance and teach that they are sinning and help overcome it.

Churches are falling short during this time. Churches need to fight for what is right and what is holy not what is pleasurable and of worldly things. Every day it seems that Churches are being stripped of what the Church is supposed to like. It looks more worldly every day.

All the churches I have been do not have this problem but there are plenty out there.

So, pray for Churches to reunite with what God cares about and upholds. They all churches may unify and become one church and that the church will bring faith and restore our world. instead of religion lets be called what it says in the bible

26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers of people; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Luke 11: 1-13

1 It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, when He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.” 2 And He said to them, “When you pray, say:

‘Father, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation.’”

5 And He said to them, “Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, 6 because a friend of mine has come to me from a journey and I have nothing to serve him’; 7 and from inside he answers and says, ‘Do not bother me; the door has already been shut and my children and I are in bed; I cannot get up and give you anything.’ 8 I tell you, even if he will not get up and give him anything just because he is his friend, yet because of his shamelessness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

9 'So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, it will be opened. 11 Now which one of you fathers will his son ask for a fish, and instead of a fish, he will give him a snake? 12 Or he will even ask for an egg, and his father will give him a scorpion? 13 So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” Luke 11: 1-13 verse taken from the NASB

Between You and God

What stands between you and God? Is it pride or is it greed, or angry, or the world? it could be anything keeping you from having the ultimate close relationship with God. God wants to have a close relationship. what others think should not matter at all. If people think I'm crazy all the better to share the crazy love, I have for God. Whatever stand between you and God cut it out, stomp it on the ground and never look back at it. It could be anything so stop what you are doing and cut it out and stomp it on the ground. don't wait for it go away or sweep it under the rug. deal with it today and your relationship with God will increase. today's message is short but it's short for a reason because you need see what stands between you and God and take time and cut it of your life it's only holding you back. 29 Now if your right eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand is causing you to sin, cut it off and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell. Matthew 5 29-30 it talks about this in the bible as well so take care of this today and don't wait it will change your life.

Exodus 4: 10-20

10 Then Moses said to the Lord, “Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.” 11 But the Lord said to him, “Who has made the human mouth? Or who makes anyone unable to speak or deaf, or able to see or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now then go, and I Myself will be with your mouth, and instruct you in what you are to say.” 13 But he said, “Please, Lord, now send the message by whomever You will.”
14 Then the anger of the Lord burned against Moses, and He said, “Is there not your brother Aaron the Levite? I know that he speaks fluently. And moreover, behold, he is coming out to meet you; when he sees you, he will be overjoyed. 15 So you are to speak to him and put the words in his mouth; and I Myself will be with your mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what you are to do. 16 He shall speak for you to the people; and he will be as a mouth for you and you will be as God to him. 17 And you shall take in your hand this staff, with which you shall perform the signs.”
18 Then Moses departed and returned to his father-in-law Jethro, and said to him, “Please, let me go, that I may return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.” 19 Now the Lord said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, for all the men who were seeking your life are dead.” 20 So Moses took his wife and his sons and mounted them on a donkey, and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the staff of God in his hand. Exodus 4: 10- 20 taken from the NASB

Doing what your told?

Has God wanted you to do something and you don't want to do? I'm reading about Moses and how he didn't want to do what God commanded him today. he tried to get out of it and God gave him help and he still did not want to. In the end Moses did as he was commanded. I know how it feels to get a task or commandment from the Lord and not want to do. It can be for many reasons we do not what God wants like what will people think, that's not me, I don't have strength. None of those matters because God is the God of the impossible. So, in Him he helps you through the whole thing and to matter what people thing i rather people think that I crazy than not do what God wants. we care far too much of what others think that it hinders us as Christians, and as humans and our relationship with Jesus. Instead, if thinking what others think, think what God will say and go with what God will say and think. So, God tell you to run, run, if God tells you to shout in the marketplace, shout in the marketplace. It may be weird to do but you will be blessed for doing what God has commanded you to. So, when God command to as he commands, and you will be blessed, and God will grow you more and more.

The bible verse I talked about Moses in Exodus will be the verse for the day. i love what I'm reading goes with what I'm writing about. when things like that happens in my spirit i feel that it is ordained by God.
