4 Gospels: The Disciples Who Make Up the Gospels...

Matthew is the first gospel, so He was a tax collector who lived in Capernaum. he was also known as Levi with is associated with his original name He was not very well-liked by the people because he collected taxes for the Romans which the people did not like. He was called by Jesus to be one of His disciples. He is said to be the founder of the catholic church.

Mark is believed to the Mark the evangelist. He was called by Jesus to be one of His disciples. He was said to be one of Barnabas and Paul. He only went on one missionary journey but did not finish the journey.

Luke was a doctor/physician. Luke was called the beloved physician. Luke was a gentile and was called by Jesus to be one of His disciples. Luke was said to be a close friend of Paul. He was said to care for Paul on some of his missionary journeys. 

John was called by Jesus to be a disciple. He was called saint John. He is said to have written five books in the New Testament and one of those books is Revelations. he is said to be the prominent leader of the early church.


I have given you a very short description of each of the disciples makes that make up the four gospels. I am now asking that you do your own research.  So, you can be ready for tomorrow...
